Jakob Dietrich and Kai Maier-Rothe are an artist duo mainly working with sound as a conceptual means to investigate the dialectical entanglement between physical space and social realm by employing various modes of aural perception and creating uncommon sonic settings. Their work consists of long term artistic research projects, interventions in public space and live perfomances as well as installations, sculptures and drawings. Apart from that both are active in various artistic, theoretical contexts, members of different artist collectives, musical projects and teaching in academic contexts.
